Molly and Birdy have just been witness to a strange occurrence, and each puts a different interpretation on it. On their way to the big civic meeting today, Molly and Birdy were given a lift by Mr Reynolds in his car. Down the road a way, they passed Elizabeth Neal who was also headed for the meeting. When they arrived, Mr Reynolds dropped them at the hall, and explained he was going to find his car, but instead, they watched the car turn around and head back down the road...
