The Lone Ranger and his Indian companion, Tonto, rode the trail southwards from Frontier Town. The masked man had carefully disguised his features to resemble a cowpoke - though he still wore his mask. It was late afternoon when they were approaching the small town of Stockton, where they intended to make camp outside of town.
