Mary and Blackie have been out for the evening and Blackie has noticed that someone is following them. He waits around the corner and stops the person following them. It is his old pal Shorty. He warns Blackie that he is being framed for the theft of the Wentworth Diamonds, worth a quarter of a million dollars, from the Manchester Museum.
The frame-up involves one of the gunmen dressing up to look like Blackie, which puts him in a precarious situation as he may also be framed for murder.
