George Valentine helps clear a meek little toy maker Simon Palcheck from a framed hit and run murder of a young woman. The three men who could be suspects to her murder, her near do well husband, her employer and the head pf Thornton Toys near whose plant the murder took place all have perfect alibis so Valentine seems to be at a dead end when suddenly the husband calls up and tells him there is something he needs to get off his chest.
