The weather has been pretty nice around Madison High School, where our Miss Brooks teaches English, that is up until last week. Then the grey clouds cascaded moisture and the streets danced to the tune of mother natures tears. It was as though some celestial goblet had overturned caressing the earth with rivulets of heavenly champagne. Or as they say in Miss Brooks' district "it was wetter than a drowned seal's moustache!"
