The story is based on the novel Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift, and tells the story of Lemuel Gulliver, a sailor who is shipwrecked on the island of Brobdingnag, where the people are giants, and Gulliver is a tiny man in comparison. He is captured by a farmer and taken to his home, where he is put on display as a curiosity. 

The show was produced using experimental techniques, using four different studios, each with different acoustical properties.
