Mrs Ramsey wants to hire Slate Shannon and the Bold Venture for $200 to take her, her husband and Dr Barton to Zapata Swamps where her husband owns a tobacco plantation. She then goes on to tell Slate that her husband always wanted to be buried there and that he would be travelling in a coffin, as he was dead. But when she told him, her husband wasn’t dead, not until she killed him later with a knife.
