For the most part it was a call for help or an official assignment that sent United States Marshall Wild Bill Hickok and his faithful deputy Jingles crashing in to dangerous adventure. But the night they turned up the little road that led to the ranch house of an old friend, Charlie Docket it was just tricky chance that pushed them headlong in to a mysterious challenge from the voice of Echo Canyon.
