Police Officer Mac Burrough was looking for an eighteen-year-old boy named Bud Owen who had been missing from his home for three years presumed murdered by drowning. Owen’s father had offered a $10,000 reward for his return so when Burroughs discovers this boy working in a café who fits the description he convinces him that he is Bud Owen.
