For this broadcast Orson Welles has prepared a script, which contains not only the great scenes from the successful stage production but some of the episodes from the original play, which had never yet been seen in the theater. And to completer the true picture of this great queen Welles has used still another source, one, which only a few years prior was a closed book locked away in the official archives of the royal family, the personal diary of Queen Victoria.
