Mary and Blackie were at an auction and bidding for a vase against a man with a green hat. The man in the green hat only had $50 so Blackie outbid him and bought the vase for $60 the man in the green hat. Later that day the man in the green hat called to Blackie's house offering him $60 for the vase and when Blackie refused he upped the offer to $500. Why was he so desperate to get the vase?
