Roy Vickers calls Johnny to see if he wants to try some Creole cooking. He wants him to go to the St Agnes Hotel in New Orleans to investigate a robbery that happened the previous night. A bell hop from the hotel opened a safe and stole $7,500 and a diamond necklace worth $25,000. Vicker's main concern is the necklace, which belonged to one of his clients. He wants Johnny to fly down and get the jewelry back.
