Tonight's story opens in a boathouse. Skip Allen, the proprietor is greeting Jeff Canfield, who he's always very glad to see. Jeff's a detective, and as he's leaving, a call comes through on the telephone. The caller wants Jeff to help them with a case - but he refuses as he's on vacation and doesn't want to be involved in any more murders...
