Dr E E Frees, Columbia's scientific consultant and past president of the New York's Electrical Society demonstrates in the show today, how the Columbia Radio Theater - at one time completely unfit for broadcasting - was converted into one of the best auditorium studios in the country, with the aid of the Electrical Society. During the second half of the program, The Actor's Repertory Company demonstrate a new microphone technique, using scenes from Two Hundred Were Chosen by E P Conkel (which opened on Broadway the previous night). Parabolic microphones were used, allowing the actors to move around the stage, instead of using the normal microphones, which required the performers to remain stationery.
