Upholsterer The

A neighboring shop owner hears what sounds like gunshots come from Goldblat’s upholstery shop followed by something heavy falling to the floor. The door is locked and the window has iron bars on it so nobody can get in. Little 10-year-old Joey gets through a small window above the door with the help of a police officer in order to open the door from the inside. When they finally get inside they discover the dead body of Goldblat behind a sofa. But where is the killer? It is a mystery as there is no way that anyone could have got out of the shop and wedge a big chair behind the door but Goldblat couldn’t have shot himself as there was no sign of a gun anywhere in the shop.

The Blue Note cafe piano is played beautifully by Herman Chittison.
