Jack Price at Tri-Western down in Corpus Christi has been trying to get hold of Johnny for a several days, but to no avail as Johnny was at Lake Tahoe on another case. Jack has a problem - a big one - and when he couldn't reach Johnny, he sent the problem to the Hertford office. Somehow, Johnny needs to prevent a murder and he needs to get started on the case ASAP!
