Benjamin Stack owns a small factory where they make nuts and bolts. He is a member of all civic organisations, always votes a straight ticket at elections, and urges economy in government. He and his wife live in a neat white house which has painted regularly every other year, the first week in May. He leaves his house at eight thirty every morning, and returns at ten after six. His health is excellent, but he comes to Doctor Christian punctually twice a year for a physical examination. In fact his whole life is so well organised it almost costs him hi mmarriage and his life!
