Simon Templar is at the carnival and deciding whether to go in and see “Mona the buried alive girl” who has laid twenty feet beneath the earth for over two hundred hours. When he eventually goes in there is a sign, which says, “to communicate with Mona talk down tube” and what she says to him mistakenly believing he his someone else leads Templar to investigate further…
