Ralph Winston was painting his twelfth portrait of Marcia and it would be his last for he planned to kill her and make it look like suicide. Ralph had tiered of Marcia and was in desperate need of publicity to sell his paintings. Ralph believed that the publicity from Marcia, his fiancées death from suicide would gain him the publicity he needed to sell his paintings.
