The Twelfth Rose is the story of death and eleven roses. It starts at 12:15pm in New York City at the home of Delores Robins. She had been young and pretty but the details of her murder were not. The position of her body and the instrument of murder indicated that the act had not been premeditated. A dozen roses were in the apartment, eleven of them in a large vase near the body. The killer had circled the girls body with the stem of the twelfth rose and then twisted it and although the stem had broken the wire supporting it had not.
