Judge Knott, owner of the Rancher's National Bank in Frontier Town, looked up as one of the clerks in the bank entered his office. There was a Mr Montgomery and his daughter waiting to speak with the Judge. The man had recently opened an account at the bank last week after buying the Rockville Mining Company. This made him one of their most important depositors, and so the Judge felt he should be clear with Mr Montgomery, that his idea to take $10,000 on the next leg of their journey on the overland stage to Rockville would be foolhardy due to bandits.
