Theodore has been hired by Mr Stanley to play the tuba in his orchestra and has paid him $100 dollars upfront. Theodore is under no illusion that he’s not a brilliant tuba player and wonders why anyone would legitimately ask him to play in his orchestra let alone pay him $100 upfront. Sceptical he has asked Simon Templar to be there at that evening’s concert.
