A radio call comes through for help. "Please be on the lookout for Andrew Holman... Described as American, 5ft 8in, 135lbs, 35 years old, wearing a brown chinchilla coat, wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of detective Paul Lee." It's a few days before Christmas 1932, and detective Paul Lee and Lindley are investigating the whereabouts of a felon at the home of a hooker. There's a knock at the door, so one of the detectives goes to open it, but when he introduces himself as a police officer, the man opens fires and guns him down!
