A supply train was driving west of Ogden over a newly laid stretch of track. Bruce Abbott, the superintendent in charge of construction, had taken the place of a fireman in the engine and is chatting away when the driver suddenly stops talking after spotting men and horses on the track ahead! They're convinced that it's the 'freighters' who have been battling with the railroad for business, but it's worse than that! It's the Lone Ranger, and he is there to warn them that the train track has been pulled up a little further along - damage that would derail the train and possibly kill everyone on board!
