Rex Norton was a big man, and a tough one. He laughed at the law and all that it meant, and with a few chosen men, he made an outlaw gang that was notorious from Arizona to the Gulf. On several occasions, he had managed to get the Sheriff and his men away from one town or another by trickery - but while they were gone on a wild goose chase, Rex and the rest of his men held up the town bank. In another county, the robbed the cafe in town using the same tactic. After using these tricks several times, warnings went out to the lawmen about Rex's method of getting them away from town - but then there was confusion in another town when the Sheriff refused to heed a warning, and a train was being held up! How could they figure out who was right and who was leading them astray?
