Today's story is a strange one indeed - the discovery of Toothpowder Mountain. Perhaps the name sounds a little odd, and certainly America can lay claim to having one of the strangest mountains in the world. But let's start at the beginning, when a couple of prospectors looking for gold wearily plotted their way across the Nevada desert land. What they discovered was a  mountain made of crumbly powder that they decided would make a good cleaning agent. They used it to clean their teeth and their pot and pans.
