Dr Christian and Nurse Judy Price visit the home of Tony Donella where he is worried about his wife and the pain she is suffering. Rosa Donella is very sick but doesn't want to go to hospital as she fears she will die in hospital. Dr Christian diagnoses a ruptured appendix and insists that she has to get to hospital as soon as possible. Tony Donella is adamant that she won't go to hospital and threatens Dr Christian with a gun to operate on her right there.
