John Trent stared moodily into his glass at the end of the long bar. A voice that called his name startled him, since no-one knew him in Cheyenne, and he had only registered at the hotel a few minutes before. He turned and saw a young cowboy standing by the door. The young man immediately drew his weapon, accusing John of murdering his father. When the man opened fire, he had no choice but to fire back, shooting the boy dead.
