Across the wasted deserts of Texas north rode United States Marshall wild Bill Hickok and his saddle partner Jingles. Theirs was a special assignment this time and their orders were to report to the new commander at Fort Laramie, Colonel Moonlight. Their job was to stop the ominous sound of thunder on the plains.
