Three Stories - With Tongue In Cheek

Three Stories - With Tongue In Cheek

Broadcast: January 27, 1940

Arch Oboler presents three satirical plays, written with tongue in cheek. The first is called Back to the Indians, and opens with the recollection of a man's dream. It was a dream that he'd met an American Indian, dressed in breech cloth, a feather headdress and war paint - and he was angry that he had been cheated! The second of the plays is called The Day the Sun Exploded, and is the tale of a terrible catastrophe which strikes the planet - just as mankind achieves world peace. The final story is called The Laughing Man, and is the tale of a man, thousands of years in the future, who finds a book which tells of our lost civilization.
