Mr Duncan turns up to see the building Lot that Lum is supposed to have acquired with his $250 deposit. Lum is now in a fix as he doesn't have a Lot and used the deposit to pay for the church piano. Then just as Lum is wishing he'd never gotten in to the building business Grandpap turns up with some news that makes things turn out right.
