Philip Hayward young Hollywood film star and his actress friend Judy Johnson had set sail for New Zealand aboard Hayward’s private yacht along with Miss Johnson’s movie director father. Mr Johnson was taking advantage of the voyage to complete his cinema yarn, a story of the strange creatures that live beneath the sea. For two days and nights the boat had not moved a knot even though the engines were ok. It was like some strange sea spirit that had descended upon the boat
