On 14th April 1912, there occurred one of the greatest maritime disasters of all time; the sinking of RMS Titanic. It was 9pm on a bitterly cold night mid voyage. The sea was calm, the sky cloudless, but a message flashed on the Titanic communications to warn of icebergs seen in the waters ahead. However, nobody was worried, as the Titanic was the safest ship afloat. The Titanic was 'unsinkable'!
