Fibber is pleased with himself because he's got the bargain of the century, a fourteen pound turkey which he purchased for $2. Teeny pops over and Fibber tells her his version of the first thanksgiving when the pilgrims came to America. 

The turkey is so big Fibber works out they should have started cooking it yesterday! Molly is preparing a list of groceries she needs for the dinner and Fibber is reading in Prawn's History of the United States about what the pilgrims had to eat for the first Thanksgiving dinner. He figures that since Thanksgiving is to celebrate the pilgrims they should eat the same stuff they did all those years ago.
