This is a tribute to the Texas Rangers, whose role in American history began when Texas was still a part of Mexico. Through the years and after Texas became one of the United States, the rangers won enduring fame for their skill in handling Indian disturbances, capturing outlaws, and bringing cattle rustlers to justice. Tonight we tell of the special force of the Texas Rangers.
