Out in the desert country of the old west the towns were few and far between. Sometimes the only signs of civilization were the scattered ranches or the mining camps that were hastily built in the hills wherever ore was found. It was at the Copper Field Camp that United States Marshall Wild Bill Hickok and his big deputy Jingles had their strange meeting with the terrible cook.
