Mickey Brennan is a jockey and he is going to be away for a couple of days. He gives Slate the key for a locker at the Havana bus terminal and tells him to pick up a parcel there if he doesn’t return in a couple of days. He tells Slate that it contains some riding silks. However a guy named Red threatens Slate as he is after $100,000 that he believes Mickey Brennan has.
