Joe Bishop an old friend of Slate turns up at the hotel and asks Slate if he’ll look after something he has wrapped up in a piece of silk. Shannon agrees to lock it up in the safe until he comes back for it but before he can hand it over a tough guy called Tommy comes in to the bar demands the silk and shoots Joe then leaves with the silk containing the “Tears of Siva”.
