A ghost has crept over the city, the air still. Lights burn dimly as the grey fog crawls in from the misty seas. A girl, wrapped in a raincoat, pauses to look up at a building rising in the mist. Her eyes trace the fuzzy letters of the lighted sign 'Elders Hospital. Visitors Enter Here'. She climbs the dripping stoop, and a few minutes later opens the door of one of the waiting rooms.
