How far have we come from the jungle? Not so very far when you consider all of the unreasoning things most of us are prey to. Fear of heights, crowded places, superstitions, envy and her darker sister jealousy. Most of all, anger, for when rage suddenly explodes inside any of us, no matter how secure our worlds, if the fire burns strong enough, it can hurtle us out of the safe orbit of our own world and back to the savage jungle.
