Starring Robert Young. In Springfield in the white-framed house on Maple Street Jim is packing for a trip to Chicago when Bud requests $3 for a new baseball bat as he needs something to bring him luck. It seems the whole family have their superstitions but Father Knows Best “it’s a load of superstitious twaddle!” But it’s a different matter when Jim discovers Margaret has thrown away his grey hat that he always wears at conventions – his lucky hat!
