With Ace Hanlon having escaped again from Red Ryder, the relentless cowboy is now heading towards Sundown Valley, hoping he can pick up the trail of his arch-enemy. Accompanied by his inseparable pal, Little Beaver, Red Ryder is riding leisurely over the rim of the rugged jawbone mountains surrounding the valley. He pauses to look down on a peaceful scene below, when a gunfight suddenly breaks out!
