Two weeks in another town, a summer place. They all add up to a change of scene, something everyone enjoys. And for Jane and Mike Slater, summer in the country was not only desired but almost necessary. Jane is a serious painter, and Mike is a reporter with a novel burning in his brain, so they're a couple ripe for spending a vacation away from it all, and working on their respective art. So it was no wonder that when Mike picked up the paper one evening he enthused about a place for them to stay this coming vacation.
