Screen Director’s playhouse introduces Mitchell Leisen who was the screen director of the 1947 Paramount picture, Suddenly It’s Spring and Fred MacMurray starring in his original film role as Peter Morley. This is a comedy romance, which begins with Captain Mary Morley returning from war after seven years to find that her lawyer husband he was formerly her partner in law wants a divorce. However she has changed her mind and wants to make their marriage work but with other love interests on the scene, this slightly complicates matters!
