Professor Marsh had an idea some years ago, when he first started treating nervous disorders, about severing a particular nerve, to release the patient from the nervous tensions occurring when the fight between the conscious brain and subconscious became too strong. Severing the nerve reduced contact, which made people more tranquil. From that, the professor got an idea that he has been working on. What he has been able to do, is completely sever the conscious from the subconscious. The possibilities are endless, if you can imagine freeing a person from all subconscious fears and urges, and soul searching.
