The prosperous western cattle town of Benson City is what you might call a one-man town. Dave Benson sees to that and it’s been that way since the forty-some odd years since he first set foot on the strip of wasteland that is now the thriving little city bearing his name. About the only mark on Dave Benson’s honesty and integrity is his wayward nephew Todd Benson who spends so much time thinking up ways to extract money from uncle that he has very little or no time for usefulness. With such a situation on hand as unimportant as it may seem suppose we visit in Benson City for a spell and see what transpires when the riders of the Purple Sage wander in to town…
