The name Jess Hardy was fast becoming synonymous with the word trouble throughout the territories surrounding the town of Bellville. Jess Hardy and his ruthless gang of outlaws seemed to be everywhere, and to know when and where to strike to the best advantage. Whether it was a payroll on the stage coach, or a gold shipment from the bank on the railroad, they successfully held them up. Jess Hardy's outlaw gang even seemed to know when a town was unprotected! Just like when the Sheriff left town to go to Carson City to hunt the Hardy gang, after they'd robbed a bank there, and the Hardy gang showed up in Bellville, and robbed and pillaged the town. The Lone Ranger and Tonto were determined to catch Jess Hardy, and bring the outlaw to justice!
