In this strange episode the owner of The Cafe tambourine has an adventure that begins with an accidental meeting with an old friend and which soon leads to a death, interrogation and international intrigue. Few people are who they appear to be in this episode, not least of all the dead Professor's wife, who after she pays a visit to The Cafe Tambourine turns out not to exist!
