In the second part of the Strange Case of Henry Peterson, Marshall, now an Inspector, has been transferred to Vancouver. Our scene opens in Inspector Marshall's office. They are discussing the case of Sir John Causewell, who had committed suicide according to the papers, but there has been an order from Ottawa for a special inquiry.
