Today's Cavalcade was written by Arthur Miller from factual reports of the part played by dogs in the war. Only today, newspapers from all over America carry pictures showing our war dogs helping to route the Nazis out of Normandy. Ours is the story of another war dog, a canine warrior named Joe, as told by his trainer, Private Potts, United States Army. Joe was a collie that not only understood what you were saying, but also read your mind and also according to Potts very nearly made a jerk out of the whole United States Army.
